The Sandbar

The Sandbar is a unique and one-of-a-kind double-decker riverboat that cruises in the Wisconsin River’s Biron Flowage and is staffed with The Sandbar Crew to include Captain, Cook, and Bartenders. Music plays throughout the Sandbar on our superior sound system and the boat lights up during the evening. The lower deck towards the stern houses our compact kitchen which serves our now famous homemade deep-fried cheese curds and boatload of homemade French fries. Lower deck midship is our full bar that serves Icy Innovations such as Frozen Margaritas and Daiquiris, and the Sandbar Classics: Painkillers, Pirate Punch and River Water. The beer section provides a full array of rotating premium, domestic and local Wisconsin beers along with other refreshing necessities such as White Claw. The lower level of The Sandbar has seating at the bar and at the bow. For those with bar seating you will certainly enjoy conversations surrounding the scaled depiction of the Wisconsin River – Biron Flowage that was hand-crafted into the bar top by the Captain. Lower deck also has private men’s and women’s restrooms. Upper deck starboard is the Captain’s helm and perimeter seating surrounds the upper deck for the best views of the River. Along with bar top tables, every seat on the upper deck perimeter has access to a bar top edge to hold your food and beverage.The Sandbar is at Gilligan’s Island and open to the public from approximately 11am to sunset on Saturday’s and Sunday’s weather permitting throughout the summer.
