Fireworks, food and great family fun are waiting for you at Celebrate Plover.

Held the last weekend of July, Celebrate Plover is an annual celebration of all the great things that Plover has to offer. The two-day festival kicks off on Friday evening with live music and several activities followed by a full day of fun on Saturday, which concludes with an incredible fireworks display.

“The fireworks show was the best I have ever seen,” said Cassidy Ferguson. “It was one that cannot be beaten.”
Ferguson attended Celebrate Plover for the first time in two years ago, but she says she had so much fun that it will become a yearly tradition.

CeeJay Auman, who has attended Celebrate Plover for many years, also loves the fireworks show.

“The fireworks show is absolutely unbeatable,” Auman said. “It’s a magical way to end a day filled with joy and excitement for the whole family.”

No matter a person’s age, there is something for everyone at Celebrate Plover. The children’s play area features bounce houses and a variety of games. There’s a beer garden and live music throughout the event for adults to enjoy.

“The event’s versatility in catering to different age groups is one of the reasons why we love it,” Auman said. “From watching the local firefighter water fights in the morning to the abundance of kids’ activities like games, bounce houses, balloon animals, and crafts, there’s never a dull moment. Celebrate Plover truly offers something for everyone.”

Auman also loves that her entire family and friend group can enjoy spending the day together despite having a variety of interests.

“As a mom, what I most enjoy about Celebrate Plover is how much fun my little one has at this wonderful event,” Auman said.

The full schedule for this year’s event will be released closer to summer. The best way to stay up to date is to follow Celebrate Plover on Facebook.

“I loved the vendors, activities and just the overall atmosphere,” Ferguson said. “Seeing so many smiling faces and families there was heartwarming. There is something for everyone to do, big or small.”
